 SOUNDJATA Promotions is a community arts group that was formed in Leeds in June 1986 and expanded into Huddersfield in April 2002.
 We aim to reflect the multicultural nature of our cities today, and we stand for musical and artistic development.
 We promote high quality music, mainly from Africa, by organising performances and workshops featuring internationally acclaimed musicians:- classical, traditional, jazz, reggae, fusion...etc.
